Cabin crew

Our cabin crew are onboard to ensure that our customers’ safety and comfort come first and that they create a memorable experience by providing friendly, enthusiastic, courteous and fun service at all times. The job is busy and can be physically demanding. Cabin crew have to be prepared to work on any day of the year, at any time of the day.

Don’t worry if you don’t fit the traditional cabin crew stereotype or if you don’t have any cabin crew experience. easyJet is different from many traditional airlines. It isn’t – we have very high standards and you’ll need to prove to us that you are capable of taking responsibility for the safety and welfare of an aircraft and up to 156 passengers on up to six flights a day.

Current requirements

We have now met the majority of our recruitment needs for summer 07 and are currently reviewing our requirements for the rest of the year. In order to be considered to work from any of our bases under UK AOC it is a requirement that you are fluent in the native language (this will be tested) and have the right to live and work in that country and the UK. This also applies to current crew who wish to transfer bases internally. Applicants for Geneva and Basel need the right to work in Switzerland only.

Job purpose:

easyJet have what is believed to be the worlds most advanced FRMS (Fatigue Research Management System), an exciting opportunity has arisen to join the team on a 12 month secondment at one of the most crucial (to date) phases of our development. The successful applicant will have a broad range of responsibilities within the team (the primary tasks are identified below), and will be working alongside the Crew Performance and Safety Manager. The successful applicant will work to inform the rest of the business about our work and also to communicate and implement changes throughout the business to reduce and eliminate fatigue risks where-ever possible.

Dimension of the role:


Based – Luton, Hangar 89
Hours – Full time
Travel – Some travel involved with the position

Principal responsibilities:


Overseeing the investigation process supporting the monitoring, reporting, and analysis of fatigue on crew rosters.
Working with the FAID system to produce fatigue scores for crew rosters and looking at designing pro-active solutions to reduce the risk identified through such work.
Contributing to the monthly FRMS SAG regarding ongoing issues and newly identified issues that are deemed to be a fatigue based risk.
Working on the development of cross departmental (Future State, CRPG and FRMS) roster quality and safety metrics.
Working with external consultants (Clockwork Consultants) to over see the delivery of the CRPG fatigue awareness training.
Supporting the Crew Performance and Safety Manager with day to day investigations and work streams.
Attending base visits to promote awareness of the work of the FRMS.

Qualifications and experience:

Essential requirements for the position are:


A detailed understanding of CAP371
A minimum of 4 years working in an Airline, preferably operational area (CRPG, Flying)
High degree of ICT literacy
Good time management skills
Strong analytical mind set (good attention to detail, methodical)
Excellent communication skills
Educated to at least A-Level
Proven ability to work on own initiative

Desirable requirements for the position are:


Training in predictive fatigue modelling software (FAID / SAFE)
Training in risk management
Training in AQD
Previous experience in an analytical role

4/ entretien individuel
